Limpsfield Garden

This garden project for a beautiful listed Victorian building in Limpsfield, Oxted involved a masterplan garden design which the clients can implement over a number of phases.  The first phase was to add an additional door to the house in order to maximise the property's extensive views to the north downs.  The second phase was to improve the flow of the property between indoors and outdoors and create a new seating area at the rear of the garden.  The difference in levels between the house and garden provided a chance to replicate features from the original brickwork in the brick risers for new steps giving access to the rear garden.

The soft planting picks up the hues of the building and brings texture and seasonal interest to the newly created seating area.
