A new-build property in Seal Hollow, Sevenoaks, provided a wonderful opportunity to create a family garden from scratch. Despite the north-facing orientation, creative use of the garden's geometry enabled two seating areas in the sunniest parts of the garden. Structural planting is being established to maximise privacy whilst vertically framing the scheme.
The retaining stone wall in the rear garden sets a tone for more traditional cottage-style planting whilst along the side of the house the retaining gabions are an impressive backdrop and provide the walls to an outdoor garden 'room' with luscious, tropical planting.
